2018-2019 Beginner Class Information
Almost all of the clubs in central Ohio sponsor a beginners’ western square dance class each fall, usually in September or early October. The classes are fun, friendly, low-key, and yield a remarkable sense of accomplishment. But, don’t take our word for it – come see for yourself!
Classes run approximately 10 weeks for Basic. The next 10 weeks are for Mainstream. Then another 10 weeks for Mainstream Plus. Most classes will run through April / early May of the following year.
There is no need to register in advance. Please wear comfortable clothes and, if you have them, shoes with a smooth sole – makes dancing just a little easier!
